The Weir Memorial Building was built in 1939. The building was built with a large bequest from Rush C. Weir. In 1954, a new wing was added, and in 1965, the Grill was constructed. The building housed the Student Union and university post office until the 2002 renovation. It now houses the Department of Computer and Information Science and student computer labs.
