The music building began its life in 1929 as the University High School, and then housed the School of Education from the time UHS closed in 1963 until 2005. Following renovations, the building became the home of the Department of Music. The building now features three main wings, with Nutt Auditorium at its center. Nutt Auditorium seats 395 people.
