Join us as we commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Year of Africa, when almost a third of the continent achieved independence in 1960.
Guest speakers include Idriss Fofana, Assistant Professor at Harvard Law School, Laura Nyantung Beny, Professor of Law at the University of Michigan, and Zachary Guthrie, Associate Professor of History at the University of Mississippi. They will discuss the challenges and lessons regarding the rule of law on the continent today.
A reception will follow the event in the Law School Atrium.
