Using the model of the Oxford Science Café, the Oxford Humanities Café aims to make the arts and humanities come alive and bridge the gap between university and community partners. We seek to demonstrate the vital importance of the humanities and highlight the amazing work happening on our campus and in our community. University faculty and community partners will share their research and creative projects, followed by an interactive activity. 

Our first event is February 4^th at 7pm in the Luckyday Dining Room. Dr. Nancy Wicker (Department of Art and Art History) will present “Fact or Fiction? Meet the Real Vikings!" Afterward, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to write their names in Viking runes. Refreshments will be served. Please join us!
