The University of Mississippi Museum, in partnership with the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, is hosting a free Family Movie Night on Saturday, October 18th at the Old Armory Pavilion. This event is part of our continued effort to provide accessible, family-friendly programming that brings our community together through arts and culture.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy a fun, family-friendly movie under the stars on a large inflatable screen. The movie will begin at 8:15 PM, with arrival and set-up from 7:00–8:00 PM.

We’ll be showing Mummies (2023):
When three ancient mummies are forced out of their secret underground city in Egypt, they find themselves in modern-day London. On a quest to retrieve a stolen ring from a greedy archaeologist, the trio—alongside their baby crocodile—sets off on a wild, light-hearted adventure through the contemporary world.

This event is presented by the University of Mississippi Museum and the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council as a fun, fall celebration for children and families.
