The University of Mississippi’s African American Studies Program proudly presents the Dr. Jeanette Jennings Lecture Series, featuring Anthony Ray Hinton, author of The Sun Does Shine and a leading voice for justice and redemption.

Mr. Hinton spent nearly 30 years on death row for a crime he did not commit. His story, courage, and advocacy continue to inspire global conversations on faith, resilience, and reform.
