DESCRIPTION:Discovery Day is a fun and flexible art program designed for ho
 meschool students and their guardians! From 10:30am to 12pm\, students can
  enjoy drop-in art making\, where they can explore their creativity and wo
 rk on individual projects. At 10:45am\, an optional guided tour is availab
 le to dive deeper into the museum's exhibits\, offering inspiration for th
 eir artwork. This program provides a great opportunity for homeschool fami
 lies to engage with art\, history\, and hands-on creativity in a relaxed a
 nd welcoming environment.\n\n \n\nDiscovery Day will be held once a month.
  For this month\, the program will occur on Thursday\, February 27th from 
 10:30am-12:00pm (Drop-in). The optional guided tour will begin at 10:45am.

 enience:\n\n \n\nStudents of all ages and their families are welcomed to a
 ttend.This program is FREE\, as all materials and supplies will be provide
 d.Participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.Par
 ticipants must be dressed in clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.St
 udents must adhere to the rules and discipline policy set by the UM Museum
 . \n\nWhile this program is primarily designed for homeschool students\, w
 e warmly welcome children of all backgrounds to participate. Our primary o
 bjective is to create a space where at-home learners can engage in artisti
 c activities inspired by the exhibits at the UM Museum\, fostering creativ
 ity and a deeper connection to art and culture.
