The AI Institute is designed to prepare instructors at many different levels for practical teaching strategies in the age of generative AI. The Institute will take place over two days, and participants are invited to register for one or both days.

 

May 19, Practical Strategies for Curbing AI Misuse:
For educators seeking strategies to navigate AI's impact on learning. Sessions will cover AI detection tools, creating effective course policies, providing guidance on appropriate AI disclosure, addressing student AI misuse, and integrating AI ethically in research and teaching.

 

May 20, Applying AI Assistance:
For educators interested in leveraging AI to enhance teaching, student learning, and research. Sessions will explore instructional design, research applications, data analysis techniques, conversational AI tools, multimodal AI capabilities, and other practical use cases.

 

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for registered participants. When registering, please indicate which days you plan to attend.
